Why Don’t You Know? Augmented Art

Have you heard of Augmented Art yet?
While you’ve been at home watching Netflix and ordering take out, the geniuses at NASA are building bridges between this world and virtual reality through Augmented Art.
There is a wizard in Buffalo with enough understanding of this new artistic realm, capable of applying this cutting edge technology so the rest of us can enjoy it. Mark Madden is bringing Art to life through apps such as Artivive.
After Mark performs his wizardry, anyone with a phone or tablet can download the free App -Artivive to access hidden content and messages. He is currently working with a number of artists, musicians and Buffalo businesses on projects that will bring interactive art in WNY to a whole new level, like a mobile, personalized version of the Van Gogh Experience.
While many of these larger projects won’t be unveiled until summertime, Mark has created Buffalo’s first Augment Art Gallery inside the Button Factory, just off Elmwood Ave at 320 Grote St. that is open to the public Wednesday & Thursday - Noon - 5, Friday & Saturday - Noon - 8, and Sunday for a spiritual experience from Noon - 4.
The Button Factory is open for a special experience featuring rotating art and live music for FREE on the First Friday of every month.
Tune in, Turn on & Drop by anytime during normal operating hours to discover the magic of Augmented Art.
